While she is new to the folk scene, Katie Garringer is no stranger to performing. She has an extensive background in classical music, and has recently fallen in love with singing and songwriting.  Katie's influences include, but are not limited to: Josh Ritter, Brandi Carlile, Alison Krauss, Marketa Iglova and Ingrid Michaelson.

Elsa Kennedy (Acoustic)

A 19 year-old singer/songwriter from NKY.  Many of her originals tend to have a more "bluesy", dark sound.  She enjoys writing on her roof with a cup of coffee and her ukulele at 4 AM, and is currently working on recording her first CD.

Josh Ferguson (Acoustic/Pop)

Seabird

American alternative rock band from Independence, KY formed in 2004.  Their songs have been featured on Pushing Daisies, Numb3rs, and Grey's Anatomy. Seabird's song "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" was played at the beginning of the Ghost Whisperer Season 5 episode "On Thin Ice".

"We the Willows" is an acoustic collaboration by Linden Eldredge and Stephanie Allaire. While typically playing folk, original and popular music around Cincinnati, they will be played their first all-original show at Velocity.

Hunter Bailey (Acoustic/Indie/Alternative)

19 year-old singer/songwriter who presently attends the University of Kentucky.  Biggest Influences: City and Colour & Ben Hibbard.

Charlie Millikin (Acoustic Pop, Classic Rock and R&B)

Charlie picked-up the guitar at age 18 and hasn't looked back, playing solo gigs while working & attending school.  In the Summer of 2012 he won a Tri-State Talent Contest, and was invited to Dallas to audition for Season 5 of "The Voice".
